Asparagus fried rice ah...
My family love fried rice espcially the man! Quick fried rice is one of the staple food on our menu and it is so easy to whip up especially on week nights! This is the first time I cooked with Basmatic rice as I have read somewhere that it is most suitable for fried rice recipes. I'm sure going to use this rice for all my future fried rice recipes!
I made this lovely fried rice with fresh organic asparagus, carrots, corn kernels, shitake mushrooms and tau pok (the man loves it). It is cooked in olive oil and seasoned with sea salt, garlic powder, cashew nut butter, low sodium light soy sauce, sesame oil and also lots of looovvveeee!!!! Haha!
I'm going to bring the leftover for tommorow's lunch!
