Ever since Aileen left Singapore to pursue her studies in the States in year 2001, it's been almost 6 years since we've met! Such a long time. She is such a nice person who will always give me a call at the airport when she is transiting in Singapore back to Jakarta. This time she was able to stopover for two days with her parents. It was really great seeing her and I had a wonderful time catching up with her. Although our meeting was short, there's more to come in the future! I remembered that Aileen is also into Japanese stuff like myself so I made her a wristlet using the adorable Japanese Kimono fabric with little rabbits on it. I'm glad she likes it! Oh and I love the snacks she got me! They were yummy!!! Thank you Aileen! We'll meet again in the future Aileen!

It looks very professional! And the rabbits in kimonos are just too cute!
Thanks Salihan! The Japanese fabric sold in Chinatown are really cute and beautiful! I have to buy some if I'm there!
Hello there,
I stumbled upon your blog today and really enjoyed reading it. I am also into crafts. May i know where do u usually purchase the lovely fabrics? Also, where can i buy the "D" rings for attaching the wristlet strap, similar to yours? Thanks!
Hi Alice, thank you for dropping by! It's great that you're into crafts! Are you living in Singapore? If yes, I usually buy my fabrics from the shops in People's park Complex in Chinatown. The Japanese fabric that I got from there are quite reasonable. Between $8 to $12 per metre. I also got the 'D' rings from there. It's from a shop (I can't remember the name) on the 3rd level where the owners are two elderly. You can get all the notions like ribbons, lobster clasp, magnetic clips, zips and many more. If you need more help, feel free to drop me an email at teresa.fsw@gmail.com
